As a private practice owner in downtown Chicago for 7 years, Dr. Codel found himself spending more time managing his practice than seeing patients.  As a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School, he has been trained to provide the highest level of care to his patients.  In order to  continue providing this level of care on a regular basis without the responsibilities of practice ownership, Dr. Codel pursued an opportunity in Dallas Texas.  In 2011 his family moved from the Windy City to the Lone Star State where he is now a full time dentist at South Texas Dental and former owner of All Smiles Dental Centers.

Dr. Codel treats patients at his Dallas clinic like he ran his Chicago private practice; to deliver all phases of dentistry to all ages at the highest level of care.  He prides himself that his practice is always family oriented.  He believes that parents and their children should be seen by the same provider.  Dr. Codel realizes that there are dental needs in all socioeconomic backgrounds.  For this reason, he tries to make his services accessible to as many people as possible.  He does this by accepting all types of traditional insurance, PPO’s, workers comp, children’s Medicaid and CHIP; as well as offering discount fees via our Harbor Dental Plan and financing through CareCredit.

Although Dr. Codel is a General Dentist, you will usually see kids in his office; whom they affectionately refer to as Dr. Adrian.  Utilizing his experience and patience with kids, Dr. Adrian can make even the most anxious adult patient feel at ease.  However, as mentioned previously; he performs all phases of dentistry to all ages.  In some cases, a team approach is needed and Dr. Codel also has a highly qualified network of specialists that are part of his team if needed.
